1 1/2 pound Stew Beef (lean) 3 tablespoons wine Vinegar 1 Onion, chopped 1 teaspoon Salt 1 clove Garlic, chopped 1/2 teaspoon Pepper 1/4 cup Oil 1/2 teaspoon Oregano 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce 3 large Carrots, cut up 1 cup Water 3 large Potatoes, cut up |

Put all ingredients (except for the carrots and potatoes) into 2-quart covered pan. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Add the vegetables and continue simmering until meat is tender. (This stew will have a thin liquid.) |
