Betsy dishes...
Cooking isn't so much a problem, as the picking out of the perfect artichoke at the store. Regardless of whether I cook them the same way every time, sometimes they turnout hard, unflavorable , with brown spots on the leaves, yet other times they are meaty, tons of flavor, and delectable from the first bite. The question is: how to pick out the perfect artichoke?
