This is one of the best not-so-hidden gems of Midtown West for any wine and cheese lover.  The wait can sometimes be a drag, even on weekdays, since the space is small, but the ambience is great as is the wine and cheese selection.

If it is your first trip, I recommend getting a cheese flight and requesting at least one pairing with honey.  In terms of the small plates, their mac and cheese and grilled cheese, while incredibly rich, are delicious, and the endive and pear salad is pretty yummy, too.  My favorite red by the glass is the pinot noir, but they have some interesting choices, including some good reds from Washington state.

Couldn't agree with you more- cheese and wine, Yum! I love Vento in the Meatpacking because they have a great selection of both.
