1 1/2 cups sifted flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 cup margarine (stick) 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup strawberry jam 1 medium apple, peeled and grated (coarse) 4 teaspoons lemon juice 4 teaspoons chopped walnuts 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons golden raisins (or dark) 1/2 lemon rind, grated fine Non-stick aluminum foil 9 by 9 pan

1. Turn pan over, take aluminum foil and place it over the 9 by 9 pan and fold in the corners |
