Here is the Dickensian Grace said over the years by the Dickens Family:
"In Fellowship assembled here
We thank thee, Lord, for food and cheer
And through our Saviour, thy dear Son
We Pray"God bless us, every one."
And from A Christmas Carol:
"...I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round-apart from the veneration due to its sacred name and origin, if anything belonging to it can be apart from that - as a good time: a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time....and...I believe that it HAS done me good, and WILL do me good; and I say God Bless it."
From Ebineezer Scrooge:
"I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present and the Future."
And, my personal favorite:
"May your New Year be a happy one: Happy to many more whose happiness depends on you."
