Hi,
I'm always taking the buds off my basil plants to keep them from flowering and so keep them bushy and leafy. Are the buds useful for anything?
They certainly smell good. Can they be used just like the leaves?
When I make a batch of pesto I don't care if they are included, but I have to de-bud the plants far more often than that.
