Grilled Garlic & Herb Bread |

1 large peasant bread or other bread of your choice that is not too dense 2 cloves garlic, whole, peeled and sliced in half lengthwise 2 cloves garlic, peeled and very finely chopped 2 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon each chopped parsley, rosemary and basil Salt and pepper to taste |

Slice bread in half lengthwise. Rub garlic halves on the cut side of the bread and then finely chop that garlic and add it to the already chopped garlic. Mix remaining ingredients and brush on the cut side of the bread. Place on medium grill and let cook for 5 minutes, until bread is toasted and garlic seems slightly golden. Turn over to heat the crust side slightly and remove from grill. Slice and serve. |
