Spicy Shrimp Alfredo |

Enough Shrimp for 2 people (7-10 per person), cleaned, deviened 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream 2 Cloves Garlic sliced thin 1/4 Small Onion, shaved or sliced very thin Hot Pepper Flakes 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Pinch or 2 of Oregano Salt & Pepper to taste |

You can cook this as an appetizer or as an entree, just serve over thin linquini. Boil the water for the pasta. Heat the olive oil in a sauce pan over medium low heat and then add the onions. When the onions become translucent, add the garlic, being sure not to burn it (reduce the heat if you have to). Add the hot pepper flakes, oregano, salt and pepper. Add the heavy cream, and when that is heated, add the parmesan cheese, allow to cook till its thick. When the water for the pasta comes to a rolling boil, add the linquini or other pasta, and at the same time add the shrimp to the sauce mixture. When the pasta is done (approximately 11 minutes) so are the shrimp. Drain the pasta well, put in a plate and serve the shrimp alfredo over the pasta. |
